Come see, hear, and feel this interactive gallery display! Centered around the handiworks of the Arts and Crafts movement, this exhibition showcases work from both sides of the Atlantic, from Pennsylvania to our home state of Minnesota. The works of the Arts and Crafts movement were created in direct opposition to the mass-produced goods available because of the Industrial Revolution, and were meant to be not only used, but beautiful and well-made.<\/p>\n

For this exhibition, visitors are invited to see the art, hear the artists’ stories, and feel modern-day recreations of this art. Designed with visual impairment and general accessibility in mind, this exhibition is outfitted with textured guidance paths for those using ID and mobility canes, multiple seating areas for those with limited mobility, and both handheld and piece-specific tablets offering information about the pieces and artists, as well as a zoom interface to better magnify the artwork.<\/p>\n
