Leder Games: Board Game Geek ads for

Oath and Root

Project Brief

For those not familiar with the world of board games, let me introduce you to Board Game Geek. Board Game Geek (or BGG, for short) is the biggest name in board game rating, advertising, and selling. BGG ranks board games, offers community-written troubleshooting guides and forums for each games, and can also offer sneak peeks for new board games. Any board game aficionado will visit Board Game Geek at least once a month so it’s imperative that ads catch attention and warrant a click. Fortunately, in the case of Root, the name recognition is usually enough on its own. But, especially with Oath, it was necessary to get creative.

Below are the final iterations of the Oath and Root ads. For Oath, we had one set of Board-oriented ads, and one set of art-oriented ads. For Root, we had one set of the Board-oriented ads, two sets of art-oriented ads, and a set for each of the four base factions in Root.
