Leder Games:

Marketing add-ons

for Vendors

Project Brief

Under the direction of Pati Hyun, I created a series of optional but available marketing materials for vendors of Leder Games’ products. Specifically, I created social media posts, posters, shelf talkers, and table tents for both Oath (base game) and Fort (base game).

For all materials, I made them so they are printable in Letter and Poster sizes (Or, for vendors across the pond, in sizes for A3 and A4). All assets were made to be printed with or without bleed, in black and white or color, and still look good.

Fort Marketing Items

For Fort, we wanted to focus on the different kids you can play as in the game. As Fort is almost completely card-based, we also wanted to feature the different card decks. These assets are meant to sell the game, so a quick blurb overview of how the game works, as well as the general player number, age range, and play time. Finally, Kyle Ferrin has made tons of excellent art for Fort (and Oath, but we’ll get there), so it was hard to pick which assets would be featured on each document. But I think I picked well. I also took the pizza and toys game pieces from the assets box, made them 3d in Illustrator, and used them to add even more interest to the blank space on the documents.

Specifically with the social posts, we did include a blank space for the vendor’s logo as well.

Discarded Concept, but I love it, so I had to include it.

Oath Marketing Items

Oath and Fort are completely different beasts. Oath is a board-based game with various cards used to simulate the landmarks and advantages one can gain as they vie for the title of Chancellor, the ruler of the land. Oath allows games to build on each other, with the last game affecting which player fills which role, which cards are in play, and other important game mechanics.

As with Fort, Oath includes hundreds of unique and beautiful pieces of art by Kyle Ferrin, which made my job of selecting which pieces to feature very hard. I do feel quite happy with the pieces we did end up with, though. As with Fort, we wanted to hit on the big draws and the cards. we also made sure to highlight the ease of which one could get started, as well as player number, age, and time requirements.
